Saturday night was Nelson Blue's first anniversary and they had special performances by Kahurangi Maori Dance Theatre from Hastings, NZ. They had two shows, and I met up early with my buddy Tracey (and my connection to the McGuinness clan back in Lower Hutt). Mike, Sarah-Jane and her husband Jeremy met up with us later, and it was a wonderful and emotional night.
There were tons of food, drink, and good, good people. It was awesome to be immersed in Kiwi culture again.
