Honeymoon in NZ - Farewell in Auckland

This is a bittersweet post, as it's my final one about our glorious honeymoon.
Before I go further, I do want to take time to whole-heartedly thank all of the amazing friends and family that made this trip possible. I can't tell you enough how much this trip meant to us, which is why we chose it as our honeymoon.
Since the first time I set foot in New Zealand, it has held a very special place in my heart. When Mike came out to visit me there in 2006, it was wonderful to watch him fall in love with it too. As husband and wife, there was no place else we wanted to go - and we wouldn't have if not for all the kind and generous souls who donated to our honeymoon registry. On behalf of Michael and myself, thank you so much.

We left Queenstown for our final stop in Auckland. We were staying with my old flatmate Steven who had moved to Auckland from Wellington not too long before.

We had wine. Lots and lots of wine.

Please note we've moved on to bubbles. Ugh.

Feeling bubbly

We were joined by Larney and Bevan (I think? I was drunk)

Then came Sing Star

Professionals (and more bubbles/wine)

The scoring was ridiculous.

There's no winning against these three

So, the plan was to go to Waiheke Island the next day. I was completely unable to, as I couldn't be more than 10 feet from a toilet at all times. No photos were taken that day.
The next day...

After the museum, we had just enough time to run back, grab our bags, and head to the airport for our flight to Fiji.

Oh, how we miss it. Thank you all again for making it possible.
