oh man...no central heating in NZ either? is there at least some heating??
Well, it depends on where you are. :) In Wellington none of the ld houses have central heating, but you can easily by oil heaters at the Wherehouse and you'll be fine.
Some of the other places in the country have heating as well...
One more thing: I HIGHLY recommend getting an electric blanket there. It is the best purchase I ever made! It actually goes under your bottom sheet and warms p your entire bed. While the heater will warm your room, that doesn't mean a thing if your bed is ice cold!
My bus (the good ol' 14) goes by Cafe Eis every morning. Always looks so appetizing! (appetising? haha)

Crazy! I would do anything for central heat right now. . .
