Austin

Toni and I went to Austin this past weekend to visit our friend Helen who's been living there for the past few years. The three of us all met in London in 1996 (Helen was my flatmate) and have thankfully managed to stay in touch since then. Helen has been asking us to visit forever, and it was Toni's brilliant idea for us to come down for her birthday...

(*note: you'll notice that the majority of the photos are of Helen's dogs: Hank Williams Bexar Oh, and John Henry Oh. If you met them, you'd understand why. Hank's the kind of pup who gets so excited whenever Helen comes home that all he can do to express his joy is play songs for her on his squeaky toy. John Henry is an atypical chihuahua in that he's a total lap dog, super sweet, and doesn't yip.)
